I’d just discovered the rankings for last week, and I’d discovered that the blog is now ranked three positions higher.

Earlier today I’d took a look at MLBlogs.com and I’d discovered that this blog has gone up three spots to 22nd place among the now top 30 MLB fan blogs. I think I’m more surprised by the fact that I’d gone up on the list right now, than I am about still being on it. Man, I really must be doing something right with my posts to be able to go up that high in the rankings, although I think that there are a few blogs on the list that appears to me to be a bit more interesting than mine is. I guess I should just keep up the good work, eh? :)

Yes. Keep up the good work. Your team (like mine) didn’t do much at the trade deadline though they both SHOULD have. Am I right?

Perhaps the increase of traffic is due to Manuel or some of the Phillies starters reading your recent rants about the offense….it could have motivated them because they certainly kicked it in gear against the Nationals this week.
In all seriousness, congrats! I told you in that one comment you were a good blogger! Good to see other people take notice.
I’m going to be in Philly all weekend, and the ONE game I happen to have tickets to this year is Tuesday when the Fish face….Jamie Moyer of all people. Ugh. Just my luck. He can’t go to 11-0 against the Marlins can he?

To Red State Blue State: Thanks for the congrats. I had no idea that the Cardinals didn’t make a move before the deadline. Other than with Joe Blanton, my team didn’t make a trade, although not through lack of trying if all of the rumors are to be believed. But, unfortunately, we have a major problem here, owners who want things done of the cheap. And if you add to that a farm system that is still suffering from the neglect of the ’90s and early ’00, there was really not too much to give up from the farm system that wouldn’t come back to haunt us later. So, I guess it was just being too unrealistic to have expected Pat Gillick to be able to do something, thanks to the idiot owners he works for.

To Marlins62003: I really wished it was true that Charlie and the boys have been reading my blog and got their act together because of my rants about what they have been doing wrong, but that would have to be placed in the realm of fantasy, since I really doubt it happened. I’m just glad that they’re kicking other teams’ behinds again. Besides, with the way the Nationals have been playing for the last several months, my mother could beat them all by herself, and she’s not into sports. :) I’m just praying that they won’t get done in in St. Louis again.
Thanks on the congrats. I’m guessing I must be a good blogger if I’m getting enough traffic to get myself onto the rankings.
So, you’ll be here when the fish play against Jamie ‘Mr. Fish Killer’ Moyer, huh? Won’t make comment, won’t make comment, won’t make comment. :) Just be prepared for him cooking fish again. :)
