The Phils defeat the Nats once again by the score of 4-2, taking the series.

The Phils took the lead in the first as, with runners on the corners, and with no one out, Chase Utley hits an RBI single, knocking in Jimmy Rollins, who had started the inning off with a walk, then stopped at third base on Kevin Frandsen’s single, giving the Phils a 1-0 lead, while moving Frandsen, who had just singled, up to second base. Two batters later, after Ryan Howard had moved up both runners to third (Frandsen) and Utley (second) on a ground out, 3-unassisted, the Phils took a 2-0 lead as John Mayberry, Jr. hits an RBI single, scoring Frandsen, while sending Utley to third base.
