The Cubs then cut the Phils’ lead down to 4-2 in the eighth as, with one man on, and with one man out, Starlin Castro hits an RBI single, knocking in Tony Campana, who had earlier walked, then stole second base. The Cubs then tied the game up at four-all as Bryan LeHair hits a two-run home run, his fifth home run of the year, knocking in Castro. The Phils retook the lead in their half of the eighth as, with runners on the corners, and with two men out, Placido Polanco hits a two-run double, knocking in pinch hitter Juan Pierre, who had been hit by the pitch, then went to third base on Rollins’ single, and Rollins, who had just singled, giving the Phils a 6-4 lead. The Phils took the lead in the first as, with the bases loaded, via walks by Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino and Chase Utley, and with one man out, as Ryan Howard struck out, Hunter Pence hits a sacrifice fly, scoring Rollins, giving the Phils a 1-0 lead, while sending Victorino to third base. The Rockies tied the game up at one-all in their half of the first as, with a man on second, and with nobody out, Ryan Howard first committed a fielding error on a Dexter Fowler grounder, allowing Eric Young, who had earlier reached base on a bunt single, then stole second base, to reach third, before he would score as Howard committed a throwing error, as he threw the ball past Roy Halladay, who was trying to cover first base, allowing Fowler to be safe at first, before heading off to second base on Howard’s second error of the play. Two batters later, after Todd Helton had moved Fowler over to third base with a ground out, 4-3, the Rockies took the lead as Troy Tulowitzki hits a sacrifice fly, scoring Fowler.
