Vance Worley has another bad start as the Phils lose once again to the Brew Crew, 6-2.

The Brewers took the lead in their half of the fourth as, with two men on, and with two men out, Nyjer Morgan hits a two-run triple, knocking in Corey Hart, who had earlier singled, then moved up to second base on Martin Maldonado’s walk, and Maldonado, who had just walked, giving the Brewers a 2-1 lead. The Brewers then took a 4-1 lead as, now with two men on, after Jean Segura is intentionally walked, and then stole second base, and with still two men out, Yovani Gallardo helps his own cause with a two-run single, scoring both Morgan and Segura. The Brewers increased their lead in the sixth as, with one man on, and with two men out, Ryan Braun hits a two-run home run, his thirty-second home run of the season, and his third home run in two games, knocking in Norichika Aoki, who had earlier walked, giving the Brewers a 6-1 lead. But that would be the final score as Livan Hernandez got Brian Schneider to end the game by flying out to center field for the game’s final out.

Cliff Lee received a no-decision as he pitched seven innings, plus three batters, giving up six runs on twelve hits, including four home runs, and a walk, striking out six. Michael Schwimer (1-1, 4.01) got the win as he pitched an inning, getting out all three batters who he would face, including a strikeout. Jonathan Papelbon recorded his twenty-second save of the season as he threw a 1-2-3 inning, striking out two batters. Jose Veras pitched a third of an inning, giving up a run on a hit. Manny Parra also pitched a third of an inning, giving up four runs on a hit and three walks.
